Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians for our facility in Baton Rouge, LA!
What Youll Do
Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones, etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure the safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalating any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support, etc.)
We re Looking For
High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles
