Staff Obstetrics Physician
The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and referring to specialists as needed.
Responsibilities
Manage a target of 20 patients daily, handle walk-ins, and provide afterhours phone support.
Perform on‑call duties on a rotating schedule approximately every 7-8 weeks.
Support organizational values, prioritize workload, deliver professional patient care, document thoroughly, and adhere to clinical guidelines such as ACOG standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO with an active California medical license.
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN and completion of residency.
Preferred experience in ambulatory practice, medical home models, and bilingual skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in EMR systems and flexibility to work across multiple sites and hours, including evenings and weekends.
