Schedule: Flex start between
7:00am-9:00am
upon successful completion of training
Work Model: Onsite during training;
remote upon successful completion of training (MUST RESIDE IN INDIANA)
Position Overview
This role supports Practice Operations by ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of provider credentialing documentation. July through September are the busiest months of the year due to the annual influx of new hires, making organization and attention to detail essential for success. May assist with preparation for NCQA/URAC; routinely auditing practitioner files for compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete and accurate provider credentialing and re-credentialing files
Understand and anticipate daily provider needs related to credentialing
Review and audit files to ensure compliance and completeness
Collaborate with internal teams to obtain missing or additional documentation
Support enrollment of providers with government and commercial payer plans
Act as a resource for credentialing questions across departments
Provide administrative support to the credentialing committee
Assist with NCQA/URAC preparation and audits as needed

Qualifications
Associate's degree in
Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or Healthcare-related discipline
preferred
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
preferred
One to two years of hospital or healthcare experience preferred
One year of credentialing experience preferred
Basic proficiency in
Microsoft Office
(Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
