ClinicalResponsibilities

Manage oncology and hematology patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Assist with bone marrow transplant management and blood bank coordination
Order and interpret labs and imaging
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
Participate in inpatient rounding during call periods
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic

Requirements

Physician Assistant - Board Certified
Experience in Hematology & Oncology required
Active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
BLS certification
DEA license

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join a highly collaborative, physician-led multispecialty organization. This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive, compassionate cancer care within an integrated system designed to support both physicians and patients.

Here, you ll practice modern oncology with strong subspecialty collaboration, advanced infrastructure, and a focus on long-term patient relationships and outcomes.

Position Overview

You will provide comprehensive care for patients with benign and malignant hematologic conditions and solid tumors, delivering high-quality, evidence-based oncology services in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

This role emphasizes continuity of care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage hematologic disorders and solid tumor malignancies
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy and biologic therapies
Provide outpatient oncology care with inpatient consult support as needed
Collaborate with surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, and primary care teams
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and survivorship planning
Maintain accurate documentation using integrated EMR systems
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based care initiatives

Practice Environment

Physician-led, collaborative multispecialty model
Strong referral network and consistent patient volume

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship
