REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Arterial diagnostic and interventional procedures (PTA, stent, thrombolysis, embolization, TACE)
• Venous diagnostic and interventional procedures (TIPS, stenting, thrombectomy, filter placement)
• Venous access procedures (tunneled and non-tunneled catheters, ports)
• Dialysis access management (angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis)
• Hepatobiliary interventions (biliary drainage, cholecystostomy, stenting)
• Thoracic interventions (chest tube placement, pleurodesis)
• Image-guided procedures (biopsy, drainage, tumor ablation - RFA, cryo, microwave)
• Musculoskeletal procedures (lumbar puncture, joint injections, moderate sedation)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active unrestricted license in any U.S. state
• Board: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (ABR)
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
• Other Qualifications: NPI required; no history of license restrictions or disciplinary actions
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures
• Provide inpatient consults and procedural care
• Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Ensure timely documentation and adherence to facility protocols
