Central Michigan Rheumatologist Job - 30 Minutes from SaginawClinical Role

  • Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist

  • Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities

  • Education & Training Requirements:

    • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school

    • License (or eligibility) to practice medicine in Michigan

    • Completed Internal Medicine residency (ACGME or AOA approved)

    • Completed accredited Rheumatology fellowship

    • Current or past certification by the ABIM or AOBIM

    • Subspecialty certification in Rheumatology (ABIM or AOBIM/CSQ) or equivalent recognized certification

    • Board eligible applicants must achieve certification within 5 years of training completion and maintain recertification as required

  • Reason for recruitment: Tremendous community need serving a 25-county area of 981,000 residents

  • Practice details:

    • Solo provider role, supported by on-site primary care and specialists

    • Full spectrum of rheumatology office procedures for adults

    • No visa candidates unfortunately
