The Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
The Charge Nurse is responsible for:
Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.
Required Certifications and Licenses
BLS (Basic Life Support)
RN (Registered Nurse)
Nurse Specialty - preferred
Required Education
Bachelor's in Nursing - Required or approved psych certification obtained within 7 months of hire.
Experience
2 years RN in an Acute Care Setting
1 year of leadership experience - Preferred
