Float Details
Primary: OB & L&D
Possible float (task-based only, no patient assignment):
Med/Surg, ER, ICU
May float to nearby Aspirus facilities (Southern region)
On-Call / Low Census
No mandatory on-call
Low Census Policy:
Up to 36 hrs (per contract) can be unbillable
May be placed on-call during low census
Callback = Minimum 2 hrs paid
Unit & Workload
2 Labor Rooms | 6 Postpartum Beds
~10 deliveries/month (low volume, variable)
Patient Ratio: Follows AWHONN guidelines
Nurses handle: L&D + Postpartum + Nursery (combined role)
Requirements
2+ years OB (with L&D experience)
1 prior travel assignment REQUIRED
EPIC charting experience
Certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP (AHA/ARC)
WI RN License
Preferred: PALS, Critical Access experience
