Overview
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Athens, Tennessee. Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary). Start Date: 05/18/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 40 per week. Shift: 8 hours, days. Employment Type: Travel.
Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients through older adults based on diagnosed conditions, including evaluation and treatment.
Help patients recover and improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
Must possess independent decision making skills.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of SLP experience.
