Physical Therapist
for a 20‑week assignment in Mooresville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting.
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
Bill services within the setting, following facility guidelines.
Understand and comply with the PT board’s rules and state regulations.
Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care.
Understand and utilize adaptive equipment.
Adjust plan of care as needed based on patient condition.
Use medical center computer systems to perform daily tasks.
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Active BLS certification and state‑specific licensure.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty; sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Benefits and Compensation
Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Tax‑free stipend, amount to be determined.
Full‑length assignment of 20 weeks with 8‑hour days.
