What You'll Do

Ensure quality, compassionate, and timely medical care for every Avenues client.

Ensure seamless coordination of client care between medical and clinical departments, UR team, external healthcare providers, and pharmacies.

Oversee all medication inventory, logs, and authorizations, lab shipments and reports, medical supplies and equipment, etc.

Oversee and direct all nursing and medical support staff (interviews, onboarding, training, retention, scheduling, shift coverage, HR needs, and performance reviews).

Maintain medical workflow process and conduct ongoing reviews of protocol and operations.

Ensure quality medical documentation and charting standards through weekly chart review.

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 100‑bed residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. Our expansive, newly renovated building is modern and appealing, offering an array of amenities and a true hotel‑like experience. Set on 7.74 acres of picturesque, secluded property, Avenues at Eastern Shore provides the ideal setting for clients to heal, re‑connect, and re‑discover themselves. Our multidisciplinary staff include therapists, clinicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors and behavioral health technicians trained in all key therapeutic modalities – each providing compassionate, dignified, and unsurpassed care each day.

What We're Looking For

Valid NP licensure necessary to practice in the state of MD.

One year experience in substance use treatment field preferred.

2‑5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1‑2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Excellent oral and written communication and critical‑thinking skills.

Strong collaborative, multitasking, and time‑management skills.

Natural leadership abilities with a commitment to excellence.
