Specimen Processor

Responsibilities
Data entry of test orders.
Sort, pick up, and deliver processed specimens to the laboratory.
Identifies problems and in some cases, resolves issues with specimens, such as missing information, etc.
Research test ordering information on translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Specimen handling preferred.
Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.
