Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner
CHI St. Vincent, a leading healthcare provider in Arkansas, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our established and thriving hospital in Hot Springs. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, liver disease, and pancreatic conditions.
Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Perform medication management, patient education, and counseling on lifestyle modifications to promote optimal digestive health.
Manage acute and chronic GI conditions, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
Collaborate effectively with gastroenterologists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
Educate and empower patients to understand their conditions and actively participate in their treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records.

Job Requirements
Current and active Arkansas ARNP license with prescriptive authority.
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program (MSN/DNP).
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) from a recognized certifying body.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with prior experience in Gastroenterology preferred. (New graduates with strong clinical rotations and a clear passion for GI may be considered.)
Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
