Travel Nurse RN – Labor & Delivery
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor & Delivery assignments in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Start Date: 05/18/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • Shift: 12‑hour nights • Hours per week: 36 • Employment type: Travel
Responsibilities
Labor and Delivery Nurses (RN), also known as perinatal nurses, provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery. They are responsible for ensuring that the medical and emotional needs of the patient are met throughout the birthing process.
Provide care to mothers and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
Monitor patients for potential high‑risk problems.
Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
Qualifications
Active RN license.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications.
At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care Labor & Delivery setting.
Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
