Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and fast-paced
Registered Nurse (RN) – ER
to join a healthcare facility in Aberdeen, WA. The ER RN will provide immediate and critical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a dynamic emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage in the emergency department
Provide direct care for trauma, medical emergencies, and acute conditions
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
Monitor patient conditions and respond to life-threatening situations
Assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, trauma resuscitation, and cardiac care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (WA or compact state)
Minimum 2 years of ER experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
Strong triage and emergency response skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
