Position Details
Start Date: August 2026 for the 26/27 school year.

Hours: Full-time, 8 hours per day.

Grade Levels: PreK-12 students.

Credentials: CA OT License required.

Compensation: Starting at $60/hour (commensurate with experience).

Location: Greenfield, CA – onsite only.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.

Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.

Implement evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs and promote skill development.

Monitor and document students' progress toward goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed.

Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to promote student participation and success in the classroom.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.

Must hold a valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where you practice.

Must be registered with the National Board Certification (NBCOT).

Passionate about working with K‑12 students.

Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.

Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and computer skills (including email and Microsoft Teams).

Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred).

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move around various areas of the school facility.

The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents both verbally and in writing.

The employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally need to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Additionally, the employee must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day.
