The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is a 40,000 hospital at the World Equestrian Center (WEC), a high‑profile 300‑acre equine facility in Ocala, 30 minutes south of Gainesville. UF Veterinary Hospitals at WEC provides Small Animal primary care, urgent care services, and Equine sports medicine, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging services.

Veterinary Assistant (CARE)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Assist with patient care, procedures, and stocking.
Provide administrative support.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the hospital and equipment.
Apply basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in veterinary medicine.
Certified Veterinary Assistant.
Compensation & Benefits
Expected salary: $15–17 per hour.
