Construction Electrical Engineer US Embassy Europe Secret Clearance Required
Tetra Tech is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Europe for the construction of the New US Embassy Compound with the State Dept. Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) in Podgorica, Montenegro. Requires a US Government Secret Security Clearance.
Project Overview
New US Embassy Compound (NEC)
New Chancery
Demolition of the existing chancery and temporary annex buildings
Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR)
Shop Facilities and Utility Building (UTL)
Waste Treatment Facility
Recreation Facilities
Security Upgrades
Minimum commitment of 1 year, up to 15 months of employment.
Housing and transportation allowances provided.
Uplift includes 10% of base salary.
Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off per year, paid round trip flights home.
Position Description
You will provide the NEC project with a full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
Observe on-site construction and ensure construction elements are installed, formed, and executed properly.
Monitor construction progress regarding project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
Requirements
US Government Secret Clearance or higher.
US Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Current US PE license can substitute for degree.
7 years construction experience.
ABET accredited international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE.
