Henderson Health Care Services (HHCS) is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team. This role involves portioning food, serving meals to residents, and assisting with maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. The position offers a supportive and collaborative environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with others and is willing to learn on the job.
Key Responsibilities
Portion food onto residents' plates and serve with a positive attitude.
Clear dirty dishes and sanitize dining room tables.
Ensure proper hand hygiene and maintain personal cleanliness.
Set up and serve meals according to dietary plans.
Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, including washing floors, cleaning refrigerators, and sanitizing equipment.
Replenish supplies and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
Learn and adhere to therapeutic diet plans for residents.
Attend dietary meetings to ensure continuity and efficiency of services.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Experience in a dietary setting is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
Must be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
A positive attitude and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
