PRN Pre Op/PACU Nurse
The PRN PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating patient condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. May assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile techniques. Provides comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family preparation for discharge.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state
BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center
2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Min: $40.90 to Max: $50.00/hr. (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
