Required Qualifications
Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology
Experience in Speech Language Pathology (New graduates welcome)
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
Essential Work Functions
Utilize standardized assessments and observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices
Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed documentation in the EMR
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, exercises, and safe swallowing practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
Required Essential Skills

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to read and understand written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities
– remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, bend

Technical/Motor Skills
– fine manipulation, assist with procedures, use department equipment
