Speech Language Pathology experience (new graduates welcome)

Summary
The Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. The SLP develops and implements individualized treatment plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and facilitates improved communication outcomes and overall quality of life.
Essential Work Functions
Utilize assessments and observations to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.
Design personalized therapy programs based on findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices.
Continuously assess progress, adjust plans, and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home‑based exercises.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
Perform other duties as required within the scope of practice.
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
Reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in English
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities
– Ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills
– Ability to work with a variety of personnel and maintain a positive attitude
Technical/Motor Skills
– Ability to manipulate equipment and assist with procedures
Mental Requirements
– Ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and maintain concentration
Sensory Requirements
