Role Description
This is a full‑time, in‑office independent Contractor role based in
Dallas . The role focuses on mineral and royalty acquisitions through direct communication with mineral owners.
The position is heavily phone‑based and requires someone comfortable making a high volume of calls, building rapport quickly, and communicating clearly and professionally. Prior experience in minerals or oil & gas is helpful but
not required . We are primarily looking for someone who is motivated, coachable, and strong with people.
This role
starts as an independent contractor
and offers the opportunity to convert to a
full‑time W‑2 employee with benefits
based on performance.
Compensation:
Day rate & commission on closed acquisitions
Performance‑based path to full‑time employment with benefits
Key Responsibilities
Make high‑volume outbound calls to mineral and royalty owners
Communicate offers clearly and professionally
Build trust and maintain strong relationships with owners
Follow up consistently and manage active opportunities
Coordinate with internal team members throughout the transaction process
Maintain accurate records and notes in company systems
Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
Comfortable making a large number of outbound calls daily
Professional, confident, and personable on the phone
Strong work ethic and self‑motivation
Organized with strong follow‑up skills
Team‑oriented attitude
Preferred (but not required)
Exposure to oil & gas, minerals, or land concepts
Familiarity with CRM or deal‑tracking software
