Job Description
Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is a 0.9 FTE full‑time position working weekdays and weekends on a day shift.

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician
urse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications

Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) – annually

1 year of relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred.

Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel, or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Upon hire: Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, completion of Medical Assistant Program, or CNA certificate.

Benefits
Pay Range: $20.19 - $30.26. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
