
Administration of Justice Adjunct (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching Administration of Justice courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.
Plan and deliver course content using technology and learning management systems.
Maintain consistent communication and virtual support mechanisms to ensure student success.
Teach in a variety of modalities, including face‑to‑face and virtual instruction.
Travel to campus locations as required.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related discipline, or equivalent graduate credit.
Official transcripts required prior to final offer.
Ability to use relevant technology and learning management systems to facilitate teaching, learning, assessment, and communication.
Technology capability, including stable Internet and computer access, for remote teaching when applicable.
Demonstrated competency and commitment to continuous professional development in the discipline and in virtual education.
Completion of Canvas Training and TOP 2.2 prior to teaching.
Additional Considerations
Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
Relevant work experience in the field.
Experience with face‑to‑face and online teaching.
Substantial, proven experience with innovative teaching and development of online courses in both synchronous and asynchronous environments at a regionally accredited institution.
