Basic Qualifications
Final Transferable Secret security clearance with the most recent periodic reinvestigation within the last six years.
Ability to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge and experience with simulation hardware and software.
Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings, manuals, and other technical materials to resolve complex problems.
Willingness to support flexible work hours to align with customer operational schedules.
Current Security+ certification or the ability to acquire it within three months of hire.
Job Description
Support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of Italian Air Force F‑35 training devices at Ghedi Air Base, Italy.
Install components and assemblies in chassis, racks, and cabinets; perform preventive maintenance checks; update maintenance records.
Document cabling schemes and maintain simulation device availability specifications.
Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems using design drawings, manuals, and simulator documents.
Assist with installations, testing, and maintenance of F‑35 software packages; isolate and report malfunctions to appropriate levels.
Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
Collaborate closely with Lockheed Martin training team members on site to achieve F‑35 training objectives.
Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed.
Comply with site security and access‑control procedures per F‑35 program and customer requirements.
Sanitize all classified media (circuit cards, disk storage devices, etc.) to the LRU per established procedures.
Work in an environment requiring interaction with multiple functional areas and diverse personnel.
Support flexible work schedules, including on‑site customer coverage.
Maintain Secret level security clearance and SAP access.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Complete required on‑the‑job training at Lockheed Martin training locations prior to international assignment; this is not a telecommute position.
Potential for deployment at foreign locations with rotating shifts and work hours exceeding 40 per week.
