Job Summary
This per diem role provides therapy to clinicians in recovery. Requires a Master’s degree (MSW preferred) and at least two years of related experience. Prior drug and alcohol counseling experience supporting licensed professionals in recovery is strongly preferred.
Job Duties
Functions as primary care manager at all levels of counseling care as needed, providing chemical dependency services to patients and their families in accordance with established policies and professional standards.
Responsible for carrying out all relevant charting requirements.
Facilitating group therapy, individual, and family therapy.
Present educational lectures to patients and family members.
Coordinate case management responsibilities with outside agencies and discharge planning.
Observe all applicable facility policies and procedures.
Coordinate treatment planning process through the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in department quality improvement activities.
Education
Master’s Degree in Social Sciences (Required)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years related work experience (Required)
