This position features a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours scheduled and at least 24 hours guaranteed per week. Note that no time off will be accepted during the first week of the assignment and RTO cannot exceed 7 days.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive nursing care for women during the perinatal period. This role entails working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities
Assessing and monitoring patients in labor and after delivery.
Administering medications and managing IV therapy.
Providing education and support to patients and families.
Collaborating with obstetricians and midwives during the delivery process.
Documenting patient care accurately and promptly.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with at least 12 months of recent experience.
Active Registered Nurse license with no hits.
Life support certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM must be current and from approved vendors.
Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
