The Clinical Dietitian assumes professional responsibility and accountability for the Dietary Services Department that provides nourishing, palatable well-balanced diets to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each resident according to their comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care.
**Job Qualifications:**
* Education: Baccalaureate degree with major in relevant field.* Certificate/Licenses: Current active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.* Work Experience: One year professional food service experience in an institutional health care setting which includes identification of dietary needs, planning and implementation of dietary programs.* Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.* Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.
