Job Summary
Postdoctoral Researcher – Chemical Biology / Medicinal Chemistry in the Franzini Research Group at the University of Utah, Huntsman Cancer Institute. The position begins Summer/Fall 2026.
Responsibilities
Research focus on development of bioorthogonal chemistry and its application to diagnostics and drug delivery, emphasizing synthetic chemistry and molecular tools in biologically and pharmacologically relevant systems.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or related field
Strong experience in multi‑step organic synthesis
Ability to design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments independently
Preferred: experience working across chemistry and biology
Strong interest in expanding scientific skills and knowledge
