We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented
Dairy Manager
to join our team at Hen House. In this role, you'll lead the daily operations of the dairy department—ensuring products are fresh, fully stocked, and properly merchandised while delivering a clean, organized, and guest-focused shopping experience that drives sales and department performance.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visits
Oversee daily operations of the dairy department, including stocking, merchandising, and product rotation
Ensure proper handling, storage, temperature control, and rotation dating of all dairy products
Maintain fresh, full, and visually appealing displays to support sales and guest experience
Manage inventory, including COA ordering, receiving, quality control, and stock rotation to ensure product availability and minimize shrink
Monitor and drive department performance by reviewing sales and operational data and identifying opportunities for improvement
Train, supervise, and develop team members to ensure consistent execution, productivity, and a positive team environment
Create and manage department schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels aligned with business needs
Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates, leadership, and vendors to support alignment and efficient operations
Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and product placement in compliance with company standards
Enforce sanitation, safety, and equipment maintenance standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment
Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions, and store initiatives and share with team members to enhance the guest experience
Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and overall department readiness
Collaborate across departments to support overall store performance and guest satisfaction
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and dress code standards
Support loss prevention efforts and monitor product handling to reduce shrink
Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing backstock
Remain hands‑on and productive throughout the shift, supporting team needs as needed
Other job duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Required: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Required: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage COA ordering, rotation dating, and inventory accuracy
Required: Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience
Preferred: Experience in grocery, retail, or food service environments
