Job Summary
Under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager, performs cleaning, laundering, and floor care functions to ensure a clean, orderly hospital environment.
Responsibilities
All aspects of housekeeping duties, including handling of contaminated waste and bio‑hazard garbage.
Making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.
Salary
Pay $7.71 per hour or more, depending on experience.
Qualifications
Physically able to stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, work with arms extended above shoulders, climb, walk, and reach.
Ability to work with cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
Ability to climb a ladder.
Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
Ability to read instructions and complete cleaning reports.
Ability to interact with patients professionally and courteously.
