Job Description
Provide in person and telephone interpreting for families with limited or no English language.
Facilitate communication between parents/caregivers and early intervention staff.
Schedule visits for early intervention staff.
Provide interpreting services for early intervention visits including intake, evaluation, and home visits.
$25-30 per hour
Qualifications
Verbal fluency in both English and the language of the specific population served.
Interpreting experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in-person interpreting services.
Understanding of interpreter role in encouraging and fostering direct communication between provider and parent/caregiver.
