Job Description
Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Obtains information on patient condition as requested by nursing staff and reports any changes in patient condition.
Education
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
Preferred: Previous experience as EMT, PCA, Nurse Assistant, or completion of ‘fundamentals of nursing’ for nursing students
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Exhibits valuable time management skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required: Must obtain department specific certifications within the designated time frame
