Job Summary
Dr. Jordan King’s Lab in the Department of Population Health Sciences, Division of Health System Innovation & Research at the University of Utah School of Medicine is accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellow focused on pharmacoepidemiology, comparative‑effectiveness, and cost‑effectiveness analysis of cardiovascular disease prevention. The fellowship will provide training for independent academic research careers. Fellows will collaborate on established projects, conduct independent research from study inception, produce manuscript drafts, and apply for independent grants.

Responsibilities
Collaborate on existing projects and conduct independent research with emphasis on study inception.
Produce manuscripts and apply for external research grants.
Expand qualitative, quantitative, and statistical expertise in cardiovascular disease prevention research.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. or Pharm.D. in health services or a related discipline at the start of the fellowship.
Experience in health services research, pharmacoepidemiology, comparative‑effectiveness, or cost‑effectiveness analysis is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $68,000 to $70,000
Competitive fringe benefits
Retirement eligibility for URS enrollment after start (eligible new hires with prior URS service may elect to enroll).
