What You’ll Do
Review charge tickets, progress notes, and operative reports to assign accurate
CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
Analyze and correct denied claims requiring coding review across multiple specialties
Collaborate with billing and coding teams to ensure clean claims and timely reimbursement
Participate in month-end closing processes, including required blackout periods (Extended hours or weekend shifts may be required during the last week of the month)
Maintain required annual
AAPC CEUs
Assist with special projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Active
Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
or
Certified Professional Coder – Apprentice (CPC-A)
credential required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Team player with a positive, professional attitude
Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow
General knowledge of standard office equipment and computer systems
Prior medical office experience a plus
