Position: Driller
Full‑time position based in our Miami Branch. The role involves performing soil test borings, obtaining accurate logs and soil samples for laboratory analysis and engineering evaluations. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions and is physically demanding.
Responsibilities
Safety conscience in all aspects of work
Operate drilling equipment such as rotary wash and auger drill rig
Obtain SPT, Auger and Core samples
Keep accurate and detailed records
Classify soils in the field
Prepare field boring logs
Measure water levels at test boring locations
Install monitoring wells and piezometers
Maintain drill rig equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
CDL Class A license is a plus
Minimum of 2 years geotechnical drilling experience
Mechanical skills preferred
Must have or be able to obtain a DOT medical examiner's certificate prior to employment
Must pass company background checks including drug screen
Must have an excellent driving record within company standards
Bilingual in English and Spanish
