Press Brake Operator – Southern CaseArts

Whether you have direct experience or a solid mechanical background and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

Retention Bonus Opportunity
$500 after 90 days of employment
$500 after 6 months of employment
$1,000 after 1 year of employment
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
Work from blueprints and job specifications to produce quality parts
Inspect parts and perform quality checks throughout production
Make machine adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Identify and report any defects or material issues
Load materials and assist with material handling (forklift experience is a plus)
Use our system to track completed jobs and apply labels
Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or equipment
Willingness to learn and take direction in a hands‑on environment
Ability to read blueprints or a desire to learn
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience operating press brakes or similar machinery
Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or sheet metal work
Experience using measuring tools (tape measures, micrometers, protractors)
Forklift experience
Experience with ERP systems (NAV or similar)
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftComfortable working on concrete floors in a manufacturing environment
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movements
Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail
