We are seeking a part-time
Registered Dietitian (RD)
to join our outpatient team at one of our client sites. This role is ideal for an experienced RD who enjoys hands‑on collaboration with culinary teams, providing nutrition education, and supporting best practices in a hospital dining environment.
The RD will partner closely with culinarians to help prepare and present nutrition information, support menu understanding, and promote high‑quality, compliant nutritional care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nutrition expertise and education in partnership with culinary and operations teams
Prepare and present nutrition information for patients, staff, or programs as needed
Conduct nutrition assessments and documentation as required by regulatory standards and contractual needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality nutritional care
Assist with maintaining and updating nutrition‑related policies, procedures, and standards
Participate in nutrition‑related quality assurance activities and audits as directed
Provide real‑time guidance and corrections to support patient safety and compliance
Qualifications
Education and Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program
Completion of an ACEND‑accredited Dietetic Internship or Coordinated Program
Current Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
State licensure or certification, if required
Experience and Skills
Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Working knowledge of federal and state regulations and accreditation standards
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable working alongside culinary teams in a practical, applied setting
Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation systems
