Aquatech immediately needs a full‑time Applications Engineering Technician to work in our Hartland, WI, ICD office. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Job Summary
This role supports applications engineers in performing their duties. Will include cost estimation, cost database maintenance, data organization, proposal writing, and vendor interactions.
Job Description
Author and review technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance
Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope
Create and maintain tools to support cost estimate generation
Perform economic analyses to define value propositions
Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives
Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation
Complete engineering documentation activities including, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment lists and calculations, utility lists, terminal point lists, deliverables lists, scopes lists, scheduling activities, material take-off lists, bill of materials lists
Collaborate with the applications engineering teams to develop proposals
Other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude
Possess strong mechanical aptitude
