Slitter Operator - 1st Shift

Position Summary
Reporting to the operations manager, the Slitter is responsible for running, monitoring, and inspecting manufacturing functions in the slitting area. This includes setup, running, and processing equipment in that area. In this role you will be a key member supporting Parker’s LEAN and High Performance culture.

Responsibilities

Read/ follow written Work Order/ Traveler/ Picklist instructions and understand internal SOP.

Work to a daily schedule and meet/exceed output targets by understanding the product flow and handling procedures within the department.

Work with cleaning solvents.

Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately and on time.

Communicate well between departments, to notify leaders and engineers to problem‑solve issues.

Perform preventative maintenance on all machines.

May be asked to train in other departments to support cross‑functional areas.

Use appropriate PPE for designated area.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Pay Range: $19/hr to $24.5/hr
