Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team! As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be working in a lab with other technicians running tests and procedures using a variety of equipment, following all lab safety guidelines and procedures, and recording results accurately. You will also perform basic maintenance and calibration on the systems you use every day, stock supplies as needed, and maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times. MLT certification, previous lab experience, and excellent attention to detail are required for this position.
Responsibilities
Run a variety of tests and procedures on samples using existing lab equipment
Calibrate and maintain all equipment used daily, as needed
Maintain excellent records of all results, and provide comprehensive reports on them to the necessary individual
Maintain a clean, sterile work environment
Qualifications
Current certification or the ability to obtain one by the time of employment
Previous lab experience desired
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with lab safety procedures
