About the Role
Occupational Therapist - Acute Care. This is a full-time, 8-hour day shift position, working from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with variations. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. The OT will serve in the acute care OT department, providing support to acute care patients through physician orders within the hospital. Responsibilities will include working with a diverse range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke
eurological cases, orthopedics, and general debility.
Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 15-18 months of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in the acute care setting
Current AHA BLS certification
Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia
Familiarity with One Chart - Cerner system is preferred
