Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct inspections, accurately diagnose problems, offer solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
With required licensing, install and repair plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, water softeners).
Perform sewer and drain cleaning in diverse environments (basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters); ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to pre-job conditions.
Prepare invoices, totaling costs of services/products; collect payment and explain Roto-Rooter guarantee in writing and on a provided smartphone.
Collect payment and move to next service call.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
State plumbing license.
Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience; proven track record in sale of plumbing products and services.
Full knowledge of plumbing systems.
Obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA) within first year; journeyman license or equivalent as required by state.
Good written and oral communication skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and coworker relations.
