Therapist – Partial
Position Overview
The Therapist Partial is responsible for providing clinical leadership, guidance, and consultation as a team member in regard to psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic programming. This includes clinical consultation, and individual, group, and family therapy as well as other forms of intervention as directed. This responsibility also includes assisting in evaluations and training of direct care staff, program marketing, quality assurance, and continuity of care within other Community Programs or other KidsPeace Departments.

Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and / or group therapy to clients in the form of on-site sessions and / or social or recreational activities which directly correlate to goals in the Treatment Plan.
Take a lead role in the Interdisciplinary Team process to facilitate coordination of care.
Facilitate, encourage, evaluate, and take a lead role in facilitating the family assessment process within the program/department for observation, direction and role modeling.
Provide training, support and / or consultation to staff within the program as indicated.
Aggressively pursue positive client attendance / census in accordance with indicated projections.
Ensure documentation is thorough, complete and filed. And program services meet standards established by regulatory agencies and KP policies.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field
Minimum two years experience in Human Services preferred.
Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
Must be 21 years of age.
