Overview
Vibra Hospital of Southern Massachusetts, located in New Bedford, MA, is a 90‑bed critical‑care hospital. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team.
Hospital Details:
Our hospital provides acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often need additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The environment is fast‑paced and friendly.
Responsibilities
Provide and direct Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a physician’s order.
Required Skills
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
Additional Qualifications / Skills
One (1) year of experience preferred; previous hospital experience preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Independent decision‑making ability when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
