What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities)
Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy execution
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and care reports in PCC and Net Health systems
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education sessions to ensure best practices and compliance with facility policies
Assist in the implementation of modified diets, communication devices, and therapy tools to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
Certifications:
State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, ASHA certification, CPR/BLS certification
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
Other:
Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, flexibility with scheduling, knowledge of PCC and Net Health systems preferred
