Patient Service Representative (Full‑Time)
Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, is a 355‑bed acute care hospital, an 81‑bed Behavioral Health facility, and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers. With over 1500 professional and clinical staff, we offer a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care and strive to meet our community’s health needs.
How You’ll Contribute
Facilitate the patient referral process and obtain pre‑certifications as requested by providers.
Greet patients, manage check‑in/check‑out, schedule appointments, and handle telephone and voicemail messages.
Collect and post co‑pays, deductibles, and past‑due balances at the time of service.
Perform scheduling, registration, pre‑admission, and admission at the physician practice.
Execute reception and discharge functions.
Accurately capture complete patient demographic information.
Apply compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after the date of service.

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
