Position Overview
The role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment, and machinery, ensuring product safety, legality, and quality.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
Conduct scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
Respond to and correct equipment stoppage or mechanical breakdowns; troubleshoot when necessary. Repair or replace worn or defective parts, motors, and control devices.
Operate machine shop equipment and fabricate required parts when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of work area.
Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.).
Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules and procedures.
Carry out additional duties as directed by supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience as a Production Operator or Technician and/or formal training or experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding; Electronics; Electrical repairs; Industrial equipment installations; alignment; start‑up repairs, etc.
Essential Job Requirements
Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology and/or equivalent formal training and work experience.
Salary Range: $24.86 – $28.28 per hour.
