We’re looking for a Senior CAD Drafter to play a key role in supporting our VP of Sales and elevating the quality, consistency, and efficiency of our drafting department.
As a Senior CAD Drafter, you’ll be a trusted expert responsible for creating high-quality foodservice drawing sets and ensuring departmental standards are consistently met. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, customers, and internal team members to deliver accurate, complete drawings—on time, every time.
Beyond drafting, you’ll serve as a mentor and resource, helping train team members, answer technical questions, and maintain best practices across projects.
What You’ll Do
Produce projectspecific foodservice drawings, including: floor plans, equipment schedules, plumbing waste and supply, electrical plans, elevations
Assist in developing, enforcing, and maintaining department drafting standards
Ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and quality control
Help team members obtain complete project information through:
Personal experience
Collaboration with sales and customers
Factory or vendor consultation
Review and maintain file management systems
Keep the Master Log current
Maintain clean, organized digital folders
Assist in training and onboarding new drafting team members
Serve as a goto technical resource for sales, answering drawing and designrelated questions
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward
What You Bring
High proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
Experience with Revit a strong plus
Advanced ability to create and review architectural drawings
5 to 10 years of experience in foodservice drafting (Architect, Builder, or Foodservice Dealer experience preferred)
Knowledge of construction and/or restaurant design is highly beneficial
Experience overseeing people, projects, and resources
Proficiency with drafting support software (currently KCL and AQ)
A two year degree or higher in a related field (or equivalent experience)
A proactive mindset with a passion for accuracy, problem solving, and meeting deadlines
